Founder & Learning Innovation Lead
Laura Watson is an educator, learning designer, lifelong learner, and passionate advocate for child-centered education. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Child Development and a Master of Science in Education with an emphasis in Educational Technology from California State University, Fullerton.
Throughout more than two decades of working with children and families, Laura has taught in public and private schools, Montessori classrooms, homeschooling communities, and learner-driven environments. Those experiences led her to a simple but powerful question:
“What if education adapted to each learner instead of expecting every learner to fit the same educational model?”
Her passion for alternative education deepened while working with families at an Agile Learning Center, where she discovered that every family envisioned success differently. Some valued academic achievement, while others prioritized creativity, entrepreneurship, outdoor learning, travel, or allowing children to pursue their own passions. Despite those differences, they all shared one challenge—how to recognize, document, and celebrate meaningful learning without sacrificing the freedom that made it possible.
That realization inspired Laura to create Limitless Navigator, bringing together decades of experience, research, and conversations with families who wanted an educational approach that reflected their own values and their children's unique strengths.
Above all, Laura believes education should serve the learner—not the other way around. As a lifelong learner herself, she is continually exploring new ideas, asking questions, and learning alongside the families she serves. She believes the future of education isn't about fitting every child into the same path—it's about giving every learner the freedom, tools, and confidence to create their own.
